Theme park evaluation

resorted to making a simple, plain poster. Making the web site was worse for me as I simply didn't know how to make it look like a typical website. The theme park project was probably by far the hardest project I have ever experienced. I was given around 12 periods in class at school to try and complete it but have failed to do so. The project was time consuming for people who don't do well in 'photoshopping' or web making like me as I spent alot of time trying to find out the different techniques used and have te. I think I would have finished it if I had applications like photoshop and dreamweaver at home plus have an expert guiding me as the work i have handed in isn't very satisfying.

I think this project was for creative minds in IT, however, I was not one of them sadly.

If I had time to do it again I would do the website and poster at school and do the leaflet, research, and powerpoint at home. And maybe ask for more help on using photoshop and dreamweaver.

Xtranormal movie making

Just recently we were introduced to a website called Xtranormal. Xtranormal is a website where people can make movies by just writing the script and adding actions. The people in the movie were animations. I enjoyed using extranormal, but the school’s internet connection was slow and it less pleasant to use. The free edition of Xtranormal had fairly large pixels on screen, but it was still ok to use. We were given some topics to do a movie on. I chose to do cyber bullying as it was fairly easy. We were going to present to the whole class our movies, but either Xtranormal were having problems with its servers or the school had problems with its connection, people’s movies took a long time to load while others couldn’t even load at all. So Ivan Miller called it off.

Web 2.0 applications - Hollrr

We have learned about wikis and web 2.0 applications just recently. Wikis are websites that allow people to edit things anywhere in the world. They can edit and update other people’s posts. Web 2.0 applications are programs on the web that brings people together so that they can talk to each other, upload videos, photos, music or make blogs.

We were introduced to a website called Wikispaces. Wikispaces is a program where people can join groups and post things like articles and people can edit some one else’s posts. We were to post something about a web 2.0 application in which we would choose. There are a lot of web 2.0 apps today and we would have to do a review and show the class how it works. I chose Hollrr. Hollrr is an easy website to use. The oral presentation was the dreadful bit but it wasn’t too bad.

Best and Worst websites

This blog is about my best and worst websites I've been to

My three favourite websites would be:

1. Youtube because most people post videos on it and there are pretty funny videos on there
2. Fudzilla because fudzilla is a IT tech news website and they have a billion articles not to mention they also do reviews on products
3. Google, Its just the best search engine

My three worst websites would be:
1. The Brentwood website, the brentwood website isn't too bad but seeing it each time when logged onto the school's internet is pretty annoying
2. Myspace, although I've never used Myspace or facebook but nowadays joining Myspace just doens't seem cool and they are going unpopular
3. Too be honest I don't really experience many bad websites, if i did then I would have probably fogotten it by now. Now that I remembered something I think that the websites that rick rolled you are the owrst, I have nothing agaisnt the song though.
